To get away from the hustle and bustle of their lives in France, Antoine and Olga bought a country house in a small village in Galicia. In this very special place for them, they live a life close to nature, tending to their vegetable garden and restoring ruined houses with the aim of bringing more people there. However, this tranquillity ends when they find themselves involved in a disagreement with two brothers from the neighbourhood. And what promised to be a simple and enjoyable life quickly turns into hell. Nominated for 17 Goya Awards (Spain), "The Beasts" won in nine categories - including best film, director, original screenplay and lead actor (Denis Ménochet).
