The temporary car park in Famalicão, made available on the site of the old Famalicão Bus Depot to cope with the reduction in supply caused by the renovation works in the city centre, will close to the public from 30 June.
With the urban requalification works entering the final stage, and with the parks closed for that already reopened, the City Council will give back to the private owners the lands rented for that purpose.
We recall that the city of Vila Nova de Famalicão is served by nearly 1500 free parking spaces located in the central zone. The renovated former fairground provides 83 spaces for motor vehicles next to the Praça - Municipal Market and 75 spaces at the southern end of the same park, next to Avenida José Manuel Marques. More than 80 spaces are also available in Praça D. Maria II.
In addition to these, famalicenses have at their disposal about 800 places in the park of Campo da Feira (except on Wednesdays) and 347 places in the park near the entrance of the Devesa Park, in the area of the Bus Terminal.
