The weather has already cooled down. The leaves on the ground, the fresh breezes and the afternoons that ask for cosiness do not deceive us, autumn is here. From nature awakes a great variety of fruits, vegetables and earthly products that give us comfort and make our palate happy.
For all these reasons, the City Council of Famalicão chose this time of the year to launch another edition of “Dias à Mesa” initiative, this time dedicated to vegetarian dishes. The event will take place from September 23rd to 26th.
Grapes, pumpkin, chestnuts, quinces, among many other seasonal food items serve as inspiration to the 12 participating restaurants in the initiative. Dias à Mesa can be enjoyed in the following restaurants: Alfa; Attrevidu; BIS – Pasta & Risotto; Bubbles; Bisconde; Combinação de Sabores; Fondue; Fusilli, Massa & Café; Moutados; Na Boca; Neto and Sabores do Algarve.
It should be noted that the Dias à Mesa initiative kicked off in 2019 with a set of proposals of the best regional flavours combined with the unforgettable cultural experiences of the municipality. The pandemic caused by Covid 19 changed the concept of the initiative, depriving people of the events, but keeping the gastronomic experiences of excellence.
Highlight for the "Gastronomic Passport", which offers a 10% discount in participating restaurants. In addition, the passport gives the opportunity to dine or have lunch for free in a restaurant of your choice. The participating restaurants will distribute the passports already stamped to customers, with each of the meals.
