The pandemic caused by Covid 19 brought new challenges to the communities, forcing people to change their routines and adapt to the new realities. Seeking to respond to the most urgent needs, the community, companies and associations have put creativity at the service of innovation, designing truly inspiring projects.
Some of these projects will be distinguished by the City Hall of Vila Nova de Famalicão with the Famalicão Visão'25 seal, a kind of brand that identifies initiatives, actions and projects that express and stimulate the values of the community and the Famalicense identity, in harmony with the Strategic Plan.
The awarding of the Famalicão Visão'25 Seals will take place next Tuesday, September 28th, in the scope of the solemn commemorative session of the 186th anniversary of the County's Day. The ceremony will take place, this year, in the Arnoso Santa Maria Church Square, by 18h00. The ceremony will be broadcasted online, through Facebook of the Municipality of Famalicão, at www.facebook.com/municipiodevnfamalicao and the portal at www.famalicao.pt.
16 projects will be distinguished, distributed among four categories: Famalicão Made IN (5 projects), B-Smart Famalicão (5 projects), Famalicão Força V (3 projects) and Famalicão Comunitário (3 projects).
The Famalicão Made IN category covers entrepreneurial projects that enhance the incorporation of technology and the application of forward-looking solutions, developing an economy based on knowledge, innovation, increasing competitiveness, and internationalization. The category B -Smart Famalicão will recognise projects that promote a more efficient economy in the use of resources. The category Force V - Famalicão Voluntary includes the projects that reinforce the social capital present in the practices of intervention and community animation and boost new environments of participation and active involvement. Finally, in the Famalicão Communal category, the projects that promote the co-responsibility of citizens and that stand out as collective projects, of cooperation and collaboration between public and private actors and as promoters of future values will be recognised.
It is worth recollecting that the Famalicão Visão'25 Seals are being awarded for the sixth consecutive year, having already recognised about one hundred projects.
