"It is a new space of environmental protection and enhancement of Vila Nova de Famalicão that meets one of the major purposes of the new Executive, which is to safeguard the environment and create spaces for people to develop healthy recreational activities, an essential condition for their health and well-being”, states the new mayor, Mário Passos.
Those interested in benefiting from a plot for cultivation should fill out the application form to the Urban Gardens, available at the municipal services of the One Stop Shop or through the portal at https://www.famalicao.pt/formularios-famalicao.
Training in organic farming is a mandatory condition for the allocation of a HUFA plot. The local authority promotes its completion. The plots are then allocated on a first come first served basis.
